HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) –  Accused UAHuntsville shooter Amy Bishop Anderson’s trial has been delayed by two weeks.

Anderson, a former UAHuntsville professor, is accused of shooting six people on the campus in February 2010.

Judge Alan Mann issued an order setting a new trial date for September 24.  The trial was originally scheduled to begin September 10.

Judge Mann’s order does not specify the reason for the delay, but sources familiar with the case tell WHNT News 19 that defense attorneys want Bishop-Anderson to undergo more testing.
