Sheriff: Search Continues For Suspect In Marshall County Man’s Death

ALBERTVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) -- Marshall County Sheriff Scott Walls says investigators are searching in several counties for a suspect in a Horton man's death.

Billy Wayne Glassco, Jr., 37, was stabbed during a fight Wednesday night at 606 Williams Bend Road in the Martling community near Albertville.  Glassco died at the scene.

Two people are in custody for questioning, and face unrelated charges. Marlon Buford Bearden, 56, is charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).  His bond is set at $1,500. He lived at the home on Williams Bed Road.

Billy Ray Moore, 38, of 216 Bohannon Road in Horton is charged with illegal possession of a prohibited beverage.  His bond is set at $2,000.

Investigators are searching for another person of interest who is considered the prime suspect in Glassco's death.

Glassco's body was sent to the Department of Forensic Sciences for an autopsy.
