LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – A judge has set a trial date for a man accused of killing his grandmother.

Pigg is accused of hitting his grandmother, 68-year-old Barbara Delaney, in the head with a hammer and shooting her on March 27th.

He had been living with her, but she was in the process of evicting him.

Pigg’s mother, Diana Harber, who is Delaney’s daughter, said her son denies having anything to do with his grandmother’s death.
