Shooting Investigation in Decatur

Decatur Police and Fire Department responded to a shooting in the 1500 block of Marion Street around 10:30 p.m. Saturday night.

Police say a female was found with a gunshot wound at the scene.

The shooting victim was taken by ambulance to MedFlight, and then transported to Huntsville Hospital for treatment.

No word yet on that victim’s condition.

The case is currently being investigated by Decatur Police.
