Sam’s Club Donates $1K To Kids To Love
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – The Kids To Love “Pack the Backpacks” campaign got a boost this week from a Huntsville business.
Sam’s Club presented a $1,000 check to Kids To Love at the school supply warehouse on Monday afternoon. The money will offset some of the expenses Kids To Love incurs while providing school supply packs to thousands of foster children across Alabama and Tennessee.
Sam’s Club managers say they’re happy to give back to the community in this way.
“That’s a very important part of Sam’s Club is that we give back to the community, volunteer and let everyone know that we’re out there supporting our community and doing things to help,” said Genia Lewis, of the Sam’s Club Membership Team.
Kids To Love welcomes all donations, no matter how big or small. You can donate online through Paypal or you may also contribute school supplies at several locations, including Wal-Mart stores in Madison County, Landers McLarty Subaru or a number of local Jack’s restaurants.
