Photos: Deer Gives Birth Next To Office Building

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WHNT) – Most people have cameras on their phones now — and they can snap pictures at a moment’s notice. 

That’s what David Manning did on Tuesday.  He spotted a deer giving birth outside his office window, off Highway 280 in Birmingham.

Manning’s sister, Jennifer Stephens of Arab, shared the pictures with WHNT News 19.

“From what everyone said, this same doe has been seen around the building every year with a fawn or two. Never this close giving birth, though,” Manning wrote on his Facebook page. “We are about half a mile from 280 but the good thing is they can just head straight into Oak Mountain.  More than likely that’s where she will be heading.”
