Man Arrested, Charged With Hosting Underage Beer Party

SHEFFIELD, Ala. (WHNT) – A Sheffield man has been arrested and charged with hosting a beer party for minors at his home.

Andrew Chase Slatton, 28, is accused of having an open house party at his home on 10th Street.  An invitation to the party was sent out on Facebook Wednesday afternoon, according to Sheffield Police.  When police went to check it out, over 30 people were at the home.  Eight juveniles were arrested.

Police say people as young as 14 years old were at the party.
