Mississippi Fugitive Arrested in Decatur

   Decatur Police just arrested a fugitive out of Mississippi.  Police say Amy Marie Hixson wouldn’t stop for officers in Gulfport on Friday and crashed her Chevy Suburban.   Officers say she rolled it and crashed into a utility pole, but still managed to get out and run from them.

     Moday she ended up at Decatur General Hospital.  Officers confronted her in the emergency room, where they say she was trying to sneak out of the hospital.  Hixson is on her way to the Morgan County Jail where she will await extradition to Mississippi.
