UPDATE: Child Hit By Car in Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) A child was hit by a car in a Huntsville neighborhood Monday night.

HEMSI officials say it happened around 8:20 pm at the intersection of Bonnell Drive and Medland Road. 

HEMSI transported the child to Huntsville Hospital for Women and Children with “non life-threatening injuries.” No names have been released and it is unclear if the driver will face any charges.

Huntsville Police have reopened the intersection.
