Video: Fawn Jumps In Pool In Fayetteville, TN

FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. (WHNT) – Animals are trying to beat the heat, just as we are.  A fawn jumped in a pool Thursday in Fayetteville, TN! 

Blake Holland and his brother Garrett were inside their home eating ice cream when they noticed something near the pool.  It was a baby deer, and it jumped in the pool! 

“It didn’t slip — it knew what it was doing,” said Blake.

He quickly grabbed his video camera to capture the deer swimming around the edge of the pool.  It got out on its own, although it slipped a little on the stairs.

Blake said the dogs were surprised to see it too.  It ran away quickly.
