It seems like deja vu for some residents in Florida. Four years ago, Tropical Storm Fay dumped several inches of rain for Florida. Well, Debby is doing the same thing. This tropical storm is nearly stationary this morning and doesn’t have plans to move anytime soon. The official track has it somewhere along the Florida panhandle by this weekend. Even that is somewhat in question.
Here are some of the rain reports coming from the system.
- Lake City, FL: 4.10″ on Sunday.
- Ocala, FL: 7.92″ on Sunday.
Rainfall totals are extremely high for Florida from Tampa to Pensacola.

Apalachicola has seen 15.21″. Their average is 4.05″, putting their surplus at 11.16″.
