Wreck on Highway 36 in Hartselle

A wreck occurred around 10 p.m. last night on Highway 36 Eastbound and Palmer Loop Private Drive.

A car crossed over into the other lane, hitting another vehicle head-on.

The collision had one persont trapped in the car for thirty minutes. That person was taken by Med Flight from the scene.

The driver of the other vehicle was given a sobriety test and arrested by state troopers.

WHNT News 19 had a crew on the scene of the wreck and are still following this investigation.
