RUSSELLVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - Sexually explicit letters surface in Franklin County. Now a husband and wife are behind bars.
Officials say a family member found the notes that detailed desired sex acts with children, and turned them over to investigators.
Sheriff Shannon Oliver flips through the case file and inside, at least five sexually explicit letters between Seth Alexander and his wife, Jennifer Milam.
“Very graphic, disturbing, I haven’t read all the letters completely, that`s just something I don`t care to read myself, it’s very graphic,” said Franklin County Sheriff, Shannon Oliver.
Sheriff Oliver says the couple describes their sexual fantasies for children. According to the sheriff, the letters outline specific sex acts the couple wanted to perform on several children, including their own toddler.
“I couldn`t imagine anyone wanting to do something bad to their own child,” said Oliver.
Sheriff Oliver says Alexander and Milam wrote the letters over a span of several weeks, while in the Franklin County Jail on drug charges.
Franklin County investigators do not believe the couple carried out the sex acts.
Both Alexander and Milam are charged with 5 counts of facilitating the solicitation of unlawful sexual contact.
