Teledyne Brown Names New VP of Space Systems Group

Teledyne Brown Engineering, Inc. has named John M. Horack, PhD Vice President of its Space Systems group. He will be responsible for expanding the company’s space business.

In a release, Teledyne Brown says they selected Dr. Horack based on his “achievements in private industry, leadership at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center and experience in academic research.”

“John’s profile and credentials are second to none in the space community, ” says Rex Geveden, president of Teleydne Brown Engineering. 

Dr. Horack served as Vice President of Research for the University of Alabama in Huntsville.  He also was Director of the Science and Mission Systems Office for Marshall Space Flight Center.  He has wirtten dozens of papers in the areas of Astrophysics and Space Science.
