Morgan County Launches The “Yellow Dot” Program
DECATUR, Ala. (WHNT) – Sheriff Ana Franklin and Decatur Police Chief Ed Taylor are introducing the “Yellow Dot” program to Morgan County.
A news conference will be held Wednesday, June 20, at the Turner-Surles Center in Decatur, to promote the program.
Morgan County is the 41st county in Alabama to adopt the “Yellow Dot” program. This is a free service provided to individuals of all ages.
It is designed to help citizens and first responders in the event of an accident.
Participants will fill out a personal information form and have their picture taken. They will also be given a Yellow Dot folder and decal to place on their vehicles.

- Morgan County Sheriff’s Office
- Decatur Police Department
- Falkville Town Hall
- Hartselle Fire Station #1
- Priceville Town Hall
- Somerville Town Hall
