Woman Calls Police on Son for Allegedly Cooking Meth
Just after 12 a.m. Friday, Huntsville Police responded to a trailer park in the 200 block of Winchester Road just east of Memorial Parkway for a suspected working meth lab.
The homeowner came home, smelled a strange smell, and thought her son might be cooking meth. She called 911 to report it. When officers arrived, they found a working meth lab inside the home. They also found the remnants of a used meth lab discarded inside a 55-gallon drum.
Police called in the STAC Team to remove the lab and follow up on the investigation.
Police took 27-year-old Johnny Wilson Marshall into custody. He is charged with manufacturing a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. Wilson was the only person arrested.
