Florence Police Make Arrest In Check Cashing Scheme
Police say Zachary Lord cashed a phony check worth nearly $400 at a Foodland grocery store in Florence.
Detectives say someone recognized the man in the surveillance video after WHNT News 19′s Crimestoppers report aired last night and called in a tip.
Lord is charged with theft and forgery.
Detectives say he worked with another man who is not in custody yet, but they are working on leads to make that happen.
