Radar systems engineer/analyst desired to support various efforts related to the development and modification of DoD radar systems. The primary function of this role will be to support Army and/or Navy Air and Missile Defense programs. The candidate selected for this position will complete a diverse set of tasks that may include: performing algorithm definition; performance analysis; requirements development and analysis; architecture definition and analysis; software engineering; test planning/execution; and systems engineering. Candidate in this position will use prior experience in the modeling, simulation, and analysis of radars or integrated weapon systems to complete tasks available on the project(s). The position will work with a diverse team of highly technical team of engineers and scientists.

Candidate must have Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Math, or Physics. Experience with applicable tools including MATLAB will be required. Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen, and must be a resident of the Huntsville, AL area or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, AL area.

At least five years of missile defense radar systems engineering experience is preferred. Understanding of systems engineering processes , defense architectures and weapon systems, and Air and Missile Defense radar applications is desired. Experience with Unix/Linux is a plus as well.

Candidate must possess a Secret Clearance (or meet eligibility for one).
