What a pleasant Friday with a dry, northwest flow taking over the Tennessee Valley. We hit 75 in Huntsville and 70 in Muscle Shoals. Tonight’s lows will dip into the middle 50s with a few lower 50s in spots feeling like late April! Your morning walk will be quiet comfortable.
Expect a nice, dry Saturday.
The reason for the nice weather, an area of low pressure to our north is pumping in cool, dry air. You can see the system here:
The cooler air won’t last long as that low pressure system weakens and moves away from the region. Expect a warmer day Sunday with a few showers.
We have kicked off June on the cooler side. Here are some of the averages and extremes for the Tennessee Valley. *Data is valid for the Huntsville International Airport.
One big event this weekend will be the 25th Annual Randy Owen Celebrity Classic in Muscle Shoals. It benefits the Alabama Sheriff’s Ranches for abused and neglected children. Our own Jerry Hayes will participate.
