On Saturday, April 28, Huntsville’s MS Walk was held at the Huntsville Botanical Garden. The event is in support of more than 4,100 Alabamians who live with Multiple Sclerosis.
Hundreds of people came out in the beautiful weather to walk one, two or three miles. The event is designed to raise awareness about MS, and to raise money to find a cure and better treatment for the disease, which impacts the central nervous system.
WHNT News 19’s Elise Morgan served as the emcee for the walk. Some teams donned costumes, others made it a family affair, and others just came out to show their support for people they love.
