HPD Officer Catches Subject In Foot Pursuit

Police say an HPD officer was in a brief foot pursuit around 9:30 this evening near the corner of Oakwood and East Arbor.

According to police, the officer attempted to pull over a car, and the driver fled.

Police on the scene add the officer apprehended the subject after a brief scuffle. Neither was seriously injured.

Police say the subject is at Madison County jail awaiting charges.
