Richard Scrushy Moved To Halfway House In Texas

Former HealthSouth CEO Richard Scrushy is out of federal prison.  Scrushy is now living at a halfway house in Houston, Texas.

Scrushy is scheduled to be released July 25, according to the Bureau of Prisons.

Scrushy was convicted of bribery and conspiracy in 2006, in a trial also involving former Alabama Governor Don Siegelman.

An appeals court threw out two of Scrushy’s charges, and in January, a federal judge cut Scrushy’s sentence by one year.
