A man is in custody in the Shoals, accused of leading several law enforcement agencies on a high-speed chase. It ended in Sheffield, when the man ran into a home where a woman and her child were sleeping.
The case started in Florence and circled the city at speeds topping 100 miles an hour. Florence Police chased him across the Tennessee River into Sheffield, where he ran into the home. Police say he didn't stay there for long, running off shortly after he got there. They found him about ten minutes later.
