On Friday, WHNT News 19 teamed up with the United Way of Madison County for a “Day of Action.”
WHNT News 19 hosted a phone bank to take donations for the United Way’s $20by20 campaign. The grand total: $82,988! Thank you for your tremendous support.
The United Way of Madison County faces a $500,000 shortfall with this year’s budget, and estimates if every person in Madison County makes a $20 donation by April 20, that would erase the shortfall. If it doesn’t meet the goal, 8,500 individuals stand to lose services.
If you didn’t have a chance to call in Friday, you can also support The United Way of Madison County by making a donation online. It is tax-deductible. Every contribution helps.
