Amy Bishop's capital murder trial has been set for September 10, according to our news partners The Huntsville Times.

Circuit Judge Alan Mann issued the order Monday, March 19, the day Bishop's trial was previously scheduled to begin.  He delayed it last week, granting a motion by the defense to continue the case over pay for expert witnesses.

Bishop is accused of shooting six colleagues, killing three of them, during a faculty meeting at UAHuntsville in February 2010.  She was arrested shortly after the shooting and has been in the Huntsville/Madison County Detention Center ever since.

Bishop says she does not remember the shooting.
