Decatur Police are investigating a shooting at the Austinville Shell.  It happened around 10:30 p.m. Thursday.

Police say two men entered the store armed with handguns.  One of the men jumped the counter and got in a fight with the clerk.  During the scuffle, the clerk was shot in the arm.

The clerk was able to grab his handgun, and the two men fled. The clerk chased the two men out of the store, firing at them.  Police don’t believe either man was hit.

Police say the clerk will be okay.

Police reviewed surveillance video from the store, but say both men were covered from head to toe, so police aren’t able to tell who they are.
