Cullman Man Officially Charged In Wife’s Murder

A Baileyton man is now in jail, officially charged with his wife's murder.  The crime happened last Wednesday, March 14.

Michael Wayne Lindsay, 48, was officially charged on March 19.  He had been in UAB Hospital since the incident, being treated for lacerations.  Lindsay is now in the Cullman County Detention Center on $100,000 bond.

On March 14, just after midnight, Cullman County Sheriff's deputies responded to a 911 call at 790 School House Road in Baileyton.  They found Tammy Lynn Lindsay, 31, suffering from stab wounds.  She died at the scene.
